    hello all

just a quick query, in your opinion should a dishwasher be connected up to
filtered softwater or direct to the waters mains (this is full of lime).

i thought the salt in the dishwasher would counteract any probs with
lime in the water? (no issue with Washing machine as its on rainwater)

    what you think?

Has your dishwasher not got a provision for setting the hardness of the water? Mine has an automatic and a manual adjustment for water hardness, and it isn't a top of the range model. If that's set correctly then there shouldn't be a need for a water softener I assume:confused:
