    Whats the "Rules" on this?

Will it affect the child or anything like that?

Most artists won't ink women who are pregnant. Puts a lot of strain on the body when trying to heal a tattoo, that energy should be used for the babeh :)

the body is put under heavy stress when getting tattooed, many people go into a very mild form of shock, basically a wee dose of the shakes etc
basically what you feel the baby feels is the general rule, just like what you eat the baby eats, causing the baby undue stress isnt really a good idea irrigardless if its a tattoo or lets say for instance an argument.. if you wanna get tattooed wait till the little bundle of joy is smiling back at ya.

The trauma of getting a tattoo and the healing process can cause internal haemaraging(can't spell that word but you should know what i mean) which can be very harmful to your child.

Any tattooist who inks a pregnant woman should be shot. It's dangerous and stupid.
