    He's not signing on for another 23-25 years, he's signing to complete 23-25 years (i.e. total from attestation less any time served in military custody)

    Do lads still get that?.

    I don't think so. I remember it was worth ALOT.

    Back when I signed on from 3-6yrs I got £500- punts!.. That was a few weeks wages at the time.

    Thats right and if I can remember correctly it was £200 punts for 6-9 but it was so long ago when it was rough:D:D
