Hi,

I have a psp1000 with firmware 3.11. Now i've had it for around 2 years and recently it's been gathering dust.
So yesterday i decided i'd give it a go of trying to mod it to use with ISO's.
Now i spent all day yesterday and today reading various forums on how to do it and it's pretty confusing.
I realise i've to downgrade to 1.50 so i've bought Lumines and understand what i've to do to downgrade it.

The problem i have then is where to i go from there to install custom firmware?
I was looking here

and i think either devhook or m33.

What's the difference?

update to firmware 5.1, it doesnt matter
with a Pandora battery and this guide you'll be sorted

PM if you need a hand. I think you need to update to Sony 3.50FW and then run the exploit to downgrade to 1.50FW.

You then need to update to 3.52 M33, then 3.52 M33-4 and then onto 5.00 M33-3.

Edit: YOU CAN RUN THE LUMINES EXPOLOT FROM 3.11 FW.

Just thought i'd post up how i got on.
Found a great step by step guide here

It was very straight forward and installed first time without any hassle.
I put 5.00 m33 on it.
