Windows Mobile - Changing language ?

I want to buy a "Windows Mobile" phone, probably a Samsung Omnia or HTC Touch HD. The problem I have is I'm living in Germany and the ones in the shops are only in German. The muppets in the shop told me I can change the language but I don't believe them and I can't find anything online. I read that the Mobile UI ships with one language, is there anyway to change this ?

Nevermind, just found out it can't be changed.

Its just as well I don't listen to f*cktard salesmen.
