Hi all. Thanks to those who came down the other night for Produce, Joe McGrath etc., and appreciation to all the other promoters, bands and djs involved. Those who didn't come down? Well you know what yis are! Think its becoming an interest night with promoters vying for the crowds attention in the upstair stages and dec has some great acts coming over which should turn it up a notch.

The next line up (dec 6th below) will see Oliver Ho making an appearence on the Drop stage to demonstare the skills which have him recognised as a much applauded hard techno pioneer and also as a producer of some standing. He will be amply supported by Daire Delmar and much respected Jeff Walters.

The Automated lads have Kid Dub with them to celebrate their anniversary (of the night that is, not any homo erotic relationship between bren and dan mac). This is a return visit as he made such an impression when he first come over, thumping out deep dubby beats which had the crowd in raptures.

On the band stage, there's a bunch of lads called Full Fat from London who are touring and look like great craic providing funky, electronic beats by using synths, turntables and drums as their lead insturments. Sure to get you Jiving! Check them out: www.myspace.com/fullfat

Then we also have some new promoters in the name of filthy pitcher which have been doing some rather special things in Madisons so I believe and who will be joining ranks in Think tank shortly. the have local favourites Rob C and Phuture Phunk giving it a bash.

Further down the line on dec 20th we'll have Audiojack (2020 Vision) and Neil Landstrumm hosted by the Drop and Junction teams respectively. Then NYE JacKit will be hosting Mr. Ewan Pearson on mainstage with further acts to be announced. So if you haven't already, rock your socks down! You don't wanna be that fat kid in school on the Monday morning who didn't get to go to Lindsays birthday now do ye!

Oliver Ho
Along with other DJ/producers like James Ruskin and Surgeon, Oliver Ho is one of the most talented artists to have emerged during the mid-'90s in England's hard techno scene. In addition to international DJ appearances, Ho released a wealth of 12"s throughout the late '90s and into the next decade on labels like Blueprint, Surface, and his own label, Meta. His style of techno is similar to that of his other U.K. hard techno peers like Ruskin, Surgeon, Regis, and Ben Sims — fast, minimal, percussive, tribal, and somewhere between Drumcode-style Swedish techno, Tresor-style Berlin techno, and Axis-style Detroit techno.
Even though Ho never garnered much acclaim or fame in his native country, he became a superstar in techno-friendly countries like Germany and Japan, where he often DJed. Occasionally, Ho would release full-length albums like Listening to the Voice Inside, but for the most part, he focused on the 12" medium — dancefloor-orientated tracks rather than listener-friendly songs.

Growing up in the West London area, Ho found himself surrounded with music at an early age. Some of his early interests included early industrial and electronic music by artists such as Brian Eno, Coil, and Psychic TV. During his adolescent years, he learned to play the guitar, simultaneously developing an appreciation for jazz. After being exposed to early-'90s Warp recordings by artists such as Aphex Twin, Ho began creating electronic music. With a Roland sampler and a sequencer, he produced his first tracks in 1995 and these tracks subsequently came to the attention of James Ruskin, a fellow hard techno producer/DJ also from the London area. Ruskin happened to be starting his own label, Blueprint, and asked Ho to contribute some of his tracks, the resulting 12," The Gathering, was the second release in the Blueprint catalog, with many more Ho 12"s to follow, including some full-length releases like Sentience.

By 1997, Ho had already established himself as one of the global techno scene's more accomplished producers as other big-name labels like Drumcode (Sweden) and Surface (France) also began releasing his records. It was then that Ho decided to start his own label, Meta. One release followed another through the late '90s as Ho churned out a prolific output, capitalizing on his rising popularity. In fact, his voluminous Meta catalog had proven so successful in such a brief period of time that Ho decided to start another label in 1999, Light and Dark. Kid Dub's early influences in music came from rock , reggae , blues , disco & hip hop. During his teen years he participated in numerous heavy metal bands with fusions of disco , jazz , reggae & hip hop which ultimately lead him into drum & bass , 90's industrial & techno. With firm roots within Drum & Bass & IDM - His productions & Dj sets are reminisent of his Drum & Bass days reflecting a passion for high impact energetic and aggressive music whilst still retaining groove & melodic harmonies without being too dark.

Kid Dub’s first Ep. – (The Micro Geniuz E.p. [LNR 004 -2004] ) became an instant favorite with many Dj’s in Germany & landed a No.1 position in Berlin’s Groove Magazine in the Dj charts for the year 2004 – attracting instant attention from many labels which eventually lead to its re-release on Mood Music Records in 2006 with massive support from Sasse, Thug****er, Berlin Massive Dirt Crew, Ewan Pearson and DJ Naughty amongst others.

Having spent most of his growing years on the move – spending a majority of his time working as a dancer in Singapore’s clubbing scene & performing live techno and Drum & Bass on the side. He then moved to London in 2001, enrolling at London’s SAE. While studying sound recording, a chance meeting with friends in college lead to the formation of Logicalnoise Records which has had several great releases in the last three years of which was The Micro Geniuz Ep.

Kid Dub has since parted ways with Logicalnoise to focus on developing his musical productions and performances & has been producing and remixing material with Kriss Darang & Jnr J's label - Devore Recordings , Demi's - Deeper Substance Records , Ortzroka's imprint - Bicycle Raid , Timo Garcia’s - Berwick Street Records , Marko Bailey's - MB Elektroniks most recently Noir's Noir Music & John Acquaviva's Definitive Recordings.

2007 will see Kid Dub releasing quite a few records & remixes. First up; “Freakz” on Devore Recordings which has already been having massive support from the likes of Martijn Ten Velden , King Roc , Raymundo Rodriguez , Shane Watcha & Mark Wilkinson amongst many others . Following up is a remix for Justin Xara & Art G – “La Discotheque” on Deeper Substance Records.

Full Fat
Full Fat is a four piece group that uses drums, guitar, synths and a turntable as the lead instrument (played by Red). Initially the band was formed to recreate some of Red’s songs, but now the band has taken on its own life and sound.

The band has been compared to Rage Against the Machine, The Bays, and Daft Punk, and are known for their incendiary live show, great musicianship, innovative song writing, unprecedented turntablism, as well as being the highlight of most nights!

Sonically, the band cohesively moulds rock, electro, hip hop and metal into an awesome new sound, and therefore has a broad crossover appeal. This is evident in the variety of artists that they have shared the stage with, including Cash Money, Kora (NZ), Jack Penate, Joe Driscol, Dwight Trible, Kids In Tracksuits and many more.
