Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Another youtube type thread!

I'm listening to a lot of older stuff lately from the 70's and 80's. Its interesting to hear the early influences in various styles such as EBM, Kraut Rock, Industrial, Synth Pop etc. Then of course the evolution of disco etc into house.

I will stick up a few examples here, be keen to here more also from others - please include a bit of info such as the year of release etc.

This first example is from 1982 by Liaisons Dangereuses and you can certainly hear early techno roots.

    Los Ninos Del Parque

Another good example is Nitzer Ebb and the amazing 'Join In The Chant' from 1987 - here is a nice live version to create the atmosphere!

And another from Nitzer Ebb - Let Your Body Learn

    More another night!
