Host Families - Any information

    Hi all,

    I was wondering if anyone had information about being a Host Family in Wicklow. Are there any specific companies you can contact to put your name on a list? Any information or contact details would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi INCH

    A mate of mine got short term students from the Rathdown Language school on Church Rd, though when I rang them a few weeks back they weren't answering the phone - maybe they only operate during the summer.

    other options are the SEK International school in Templecarrig - they definitely do full year placements and theres a few language schools in Bray - Pace institute, bray language centre, ATC (google will find all of these) - some of these do "demi-pair" type arrangements where the students do housework, babysitting etc in exchange for accomadation.

    I can't vouch for any of these, I looked into the idea, but haven't followed it up yet. Let us know how you get on...
