Hot towel shave with beard?

    Hi,
    I'm looking for some advice - my boyfriend usually has a bit of a beard and moustache but shaves part of it (sorry if there's a technical term for this, Im a girl so have no idea)
    I'm thinking of giving him a voucher for a hot towel shave for Christmas but I was wondering is it possible to get a hot towel shave without shaving off all the facial hair, or is that too awkward with the blades they use?

    yeah you can get a partial hot towel shave alright. but be careful, if he normally uses an electric razor then he'll come out of the barbers with a face that looks like hes been slashed. it only lasts for a few hours tho.
    if he uses a regular blade for shaving then he'll be fine.
