Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Get Voting - Irish Dance Music Awards

    After the past few months of collecting feedback by email and through all online Irish music forums, the voting process is now ready to go live on our website. As mentioned in previous posts, the awards were to be strictly done by what people mailed in, but to make things a little bit more fair.... I've added the "Other" option with a comment box to type the name into (for each category). All nominees are the names that got the most feedback but obviously some people may not have sent their thoughts in by mail, so at least this way I don't think anyone can complain. If no one springs to mind for any particular category, you have the "No Answer" option also.

    OK, to vote, you need a token, which is generated by checking some unique details (IP, email, phone etc). All details need to be valid. This should stop anyone from cheating. Also, please only vote for people you actually think deserve to win and not just for someone who is a good friend. We don't want people sending around mails to everyone in work and getting them to vote for them if they've never actually heard them play etc. If anyone attempts to cheat (we're hoping people will have the decency and respect not to bother with that kind of ****e) they will not be doing themselves or the person they're voting for any favours by doing this. Could people also please take their time with their vote to avoid mistakes. Any queries sent to jaygrogan@slick-dj.com

    Can people please take note that they can vote for any Irish (North and South) acts, clubs etc etc, even if the name isn't on the list. Use the "Other" option and type the name in the comments box once you have selected this. If you don't think there's a deserving winner for any particular category, please be sure to use No Answer instead of picking someone for the sake of it.
