    Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent mib browser application in windows?

just to be clear, you want to either:

    a) view the contents of a MIB file?
    b) monitor a process/box/service using MIB's?
    c) you have a collection of MIB files an want to see what they apply to?

I've mib files and want to get the numeric OID for various bits and bobs mentioned in the mib file. Yeah you can manually work them out, but it's a pita if you're going to be doing it for more than a handful :)

You can load the MIB's into Zenoss which will give you lots of info about them, but that too is a PITA to set up! Or, take the easy route and download a VMWARE appliance of Zenoss: http://www.vmware.com/appliances/directory/471
