Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Why?

I dont think Benjani has played poorly myself, he's done the best that could be expected of him up there on his own.
Maybe there was a few times he should have held the ball up and waited for support, but Vassell and Robinho have been fairly far behind him most times he gets the ball.

becuase ronaldo is doing nothing and we need both wings defended now which we didn't in the first half..

    Robinho a disgrace.

    Dope...
Was a shove though, but should have known better than to do that

    EDIT: No shove?!

Jesus christ, do people not have better things to do than watch every single thing Ronaldo does?

Made a foul, it was maybe a yellow, he argued, the ref gave it, he gave him some stick, they moved on. Theres a game on!

    Relevant now imo.

No idea what the hell Ronaldo was doing there. But there's no way anyone could construe that as Ronaldo trying to manipulate the ball into the goal. It wasn't subtle in the slightest. No idea what he was doing. Absurd and it could cost us.

Well City, time to see what you are all about now.

He wasnt trying to score, but it was still an intentional handball, he really shouldnt get a ban for that though, the FA should overrule it instead of him missing a mathc

was it a second yellow? what was the first infringement for?

i think its a joke the amount of yellows and red the ref is dishing out i havent seen one reckless or bad tackle yet ..... he's an idiot he's turning a derby that wasnt heated into a heated game because of the cards.

really poor iv seen lots of manchester derbys and been at one and this is by far the least heated iv seen, joke!

agreed, his first one wasn't a yellow but the second one was. He clearly wasn't trying to fist it in or anything but it was intentional handball, he gave the ref no option. Dunno what he thought he heard but couldn't hear any whistle noise on TV.

Well ronaldo was hardly trying to punch the ball into the goal. Seemed like he was saying that he heard a whistle, therewasn't one but the ref should've saw common sense and wrote it off as a stupid mistake.

City are actually playing poorer since the sending off. Elano is a disaster.

Think it is a bit harsh. Am glad though as I have an intense hatred for him and it will mess up everyones fantasy football scores :)

no one's attacking him for the yellow on ronaldo for the handball

the first one was never a yellow

    rafael's was never a yellow

it's his over all performance has been terrible

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 756 ✭✭✭D.S.

F88k it, he's gone. Intentionally handballed it. No matter what he heard, whether he deserved the first one or not. He deserved the card for being a git.

Meanwhile, worried that United are getting pushed off the ball right now.

Plus giggs is coming on. Not happy - why not anderson??

No, he didnt. The first one should never be a yellow, and the second one wasnt a yellow either even if it says it in the rules.

    Its disgraceful by the ref

The red has had a noticble effect on the team. Rooney looks like he has lost all concentration.
