Leaking Gate Valves

    Bought a house its about 4 years old moved in a about a month now, had a problem with Central Heating so turned a couple of Gate Valves in the hot press and got out hot water as water wstn being heating before just the rads. But now since i turned the gate valves they probably hadnt been turned in ages not the gate valves are leaking they are dribbling droplets of water just under the wheel of the valve any help of this please is much appreciated.

    Just underneath the gate valve there should be a nut tighten this quarter turn and it should stop the leak
