    'Irish Digital Lab Develops Production Software'

    At the Digital Media Cube, a hub for incubating high-tech start-ups, a web based tool is being developed specifically for the Production industry.

    This highly innovative tool, currently codenamed 'ProductionApp', eases the pain of managing and communicating production information. The application will allow users to save time and money through increased efficiency.
    ProductionApp will streamline the creation of unit lists, call sheets, movement orders and more. ProductionApp will be provided using SaaS (Software as a Service), a highly innovative business model. This means a low cost of ownership for the user coupled with continual ongoing updates to the product in line with user feedback. This means that users will always be on the latest version and ProductionApp will always grow in accordance with feedback from the entire user base.

    ProductionApp will offer a free plan to its users for core features and will charge a small monthly fee for its premium package. The project is a collaboration between Warrior Films and Web Splash. These two highly innovative companies were selected to participate in the state sponsored CREATE program run by the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) where ProductionApp is currently being developed.
