Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone watching?

Pompy winning 1-0 :) Kaboul header

    Senderos playing CB.......:o

Pompy's LB Bel Hadj (sp?) isn't half bad! He's been a bit bogey defensively in previous games, but pretty steady tonight. Very good going forward.

    Seedorf on for Gattuso

    65 mins gone

Yeah watched the City game earlier aswell. They were good, but Schalke made them look a lot better than they were.

Senderos is a good defender, jsut not suited for the stlye of the Premier League. He plays very well in Italy.

Belhadj is quality. Interesting to see Adams pushing the defense to keep a high line, obviously knows pipo and schev dont have the pace to outrun Belhadj or Johnson. Belhadj and Traore have tormented Zambrotta all night.

Just woke up. Been tossing and turning all night but what a result! Superb stuff without Robinho, Elano and Zab.

Milan won't beat Pompey imo. The atmosphere at Fratton Park will cause one of those 'great European nights' where the giant of world football comes unstuck.

Did I back Pompey? Of course not

    My favourite striker ever.

If you're looking for someone to put the ball in the back of the net he is your man. Others offer more athleticism and creativity etc but for sheer finishing prowess he is unmatchable in my opinion

Goal of the night imo -

    Colsa v PSG

    Belter

This was especially brilliant in one season with Juve where Del Piero would do all the work and set Pippo up with really easy tap ins and instead of acknowledging Ale's good work he'd just run of to the nearest camera with his mouth open. I remember vividly one time when it happened around 98 where after a decent dribble Delp Piero beat the keeper but hit the post and the ball trickled to Inzaghi who did his usual gimmick. The camera panned back to Del Piero who was just trudging back to the half way line looking so pissed off
