    Oh look, sDooM has loads of posts, no surprises there. I don't really think I should bother congratualting you. I know it's the done thing but really it just means you typed into the internet an awful lot and I'm not sure that's really worth rewarding with congratulations.

    In fairness though, I will congratulate the quality of your posts. Fair play, usually an entertaining read.

    And in fairness these days it's easy to knock out a few thousand posts in a matter of months what with all the "social" forums. Gone are the days of yore when a mere few hundred posts made you look knowledgeable.

    I reckon so, as it happens. Sometimes it seems he is quite happy to talk to himself. :)

    If you're genuinely interested I noticed a huge acceleration in my post count once I made mod. Between feedback, making "mod posts" on my fora and my usual activity on boards, it just seemed to snowball.

    But also interestingly I don't get to "surf" around boards the way I used to. I tend to stick to the 4 or 5 fora I am interested in rather than poke about.
