    Hi all,
I won a new Samsung U800 (Sim free), but I cannot get onto the internet on it. I'm on three (3) and in the connection settings I am being prompted for the following:

    Protocol:
    Proxy (currently it is 0. 0. 0. 0)
    Port (Currently 80)
And then tick box options of
    Static IP
Static DNS and then prompts for server 1 and server 2 IP addresses
Traffic class (Options Subscribed, Conversation, Streaming, Interactive or Background)

If people could help, I would really appreciate it!!!

Protocol: what are the options here or is it just a text box?
Proxy (currently it is 0. 0. 0. 0): is there an option to have no proxy?
Port (Currently 80): again, can you disable this?
And then tick box options of
Static IP: not a static IP
Static DNS and then prompts for server 1 and server 2 IP addresses: leave these blank
Traffic class (Options Subscribed, Conversation, Streaming, Interactive or Background):try them all, i don't know what that should be

is there nowhere to enter an access point name or APN? it necessary and should be 3ireland.ie

i had a quick google for samsung internet settings. these are the ones as they'd be entered on a d500. you should find something similar on your phone somewhere:

    Proxy Settings
    1) Go to your browser settings on the main menu
    2) Select "Settings"
    3) Adjust the settings of one of the given preset programs to the following:
    Profile name: 3
    Home URL: http://mobile.3ireland.ie/hb/hutchkey
    Bearer: GPRS only
    Proxy: disable
then select the GPRS settings tab
    IP address: leave blank
    Port: leave blank
    APN: 3ireland.ie
    Login/Password: leave blank
