    I wouldn't even think about it. Almera's aren't half as reliable as they name suggests. The timing chain that is supposed to be long lasting often needs replacing at about 40k miles, the residuals are megane bad (and that is bad) plus, rear space is tight and they aint the best to drive. I'd suggest a Focus (even a year or two older) or a Leon even.

    If you must have it, bear in mind it'll be three years old very soon. They start on Carzone (not the scam ones) fom about 9k. If you must have it try offering 7.5-8k tops and see where you go.

    That is not a desirable car and I'd say Merlin would be grateful for any offer on it. I'd start at €8K and play hardball. I'm actually shocked that they are looking for that much on it.

    BTW the Almera is ancient at this stage and that model was not great to begin with. I would avoid.
