Mercedies AMG Vx220 (contains traces of nuts)

    Over the week i was doing a nixer and i drove passed a lovely vx220. Lovely clean metallic grey.

    You know there the kind of car you just cant help having a stare at.

    Then I noticed:

    The vauxhaull badge wasn't on the front but its not uncommon for these cars to be debadged.

    The quarter panels had a genuine AMG badge and on the rear a Mercedies Badge with another AMG badge all genuinely bought from Mercedies.:confused:


    Has anyone seen this car besides me. Why would you do that?
    I will go back with a camra during the week. I probably would have forgiven a lotus badge but Mercadies?

    You should of waited for the own to come back. Have a camera at hand and when you see them have a big smile on your face. Then point and laugh, take a pic and post it up...

    Ugh, I've seen some dodgey Amg's, but this tops it:D

    Then again, he may have fitted an AMG Mercedes engine to it. Unlikely in a car *that* small, but possible. I know somebody who got stung laughing at an old Twin Cam Corolla, which had Honda Type-R badges.

    Turns out, the owner had replaced the old Toyota 4AG engine, with one from the latest Type-R Civic, and thought it only fair to reflect the car's dual providence..

    Damien MacNamara of D1 Drifting had an AE86 with a 200SX engine aswell, no Nissan badges though.
