Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

GOW 2 Splitscreen --> System Link?

    Quick question, me and a mate have been playing GOW 2 on splitscreen coop.

    If I rent another copy of GOW2 can we use our save to play on with system link instead of splitscreen??

    Never played a 360 game system link but I think they way it works is that you create the game and your friend joins it.

    Only have Gears 1 at the moment and not sure if the system is similar.

    Yup it is possible, we had started on split-screen on one console and continued tonight with two consoles and two tv's. Waaay better job.

    All washed down with some lovely Duff beer.:cool:

    Man that duff beer tastes like crap. It's a great novelty but it costs like 2.50 a bottle in harvest and seems like they just put the cheapest beer in there with out giving a damn. Real wasted oppurtunity

    As for the OP, yeah system-link works fine with GoW 2. It's super epic when you get 2 players on each tv for some kick ass horde.

    Yeah the Duff isn't spectacular but had some Prasky and a mini keg of Heineken to help it down.

    Two TVs really is the only way to go for GOW2, split screen really is poo compared to it.
