I have been banned form AH and would like to use this opportunity to scream quietly in a corner. I cant tell my GF because she would only life and call me a loser anyway for being on the AH section.

This is the forum charter in AH

"Do not argue with a moderator in a thread after they have given a warning or a ban etc. If you have an issue with a moderator's action then PM the mod in question."

I PM'd the Mod in question who told me "End of discussion, unless you really want a longer ban."

I was banned(quite rightly) for linking a porno website during a thread discussing porno websites. I was lured into it, Im sure of it. :D

I breached the charter so followed the rules of the charter by sending a PM to the mod who then proceeded to tell me I must never reply(in not so many words) unless I want a longer ban. Its not really condusive of the one rule for everyone idea. It probably stems from boards.ie welcome terms stating mod and admin can ban for "any" reason. And I thought it was just the pope who was infallable. LOL :D

Im sorry, thats just me letting of steam for a fortnight without the enjoyment of AH.

Leave me be with my D hat in the corner.

Oops. In a freak thought and shrug of shoulders from my OH I decided to circumvent the ban by re-registering an account in her name.

Hinsight is a good thing but foresight is better.

Shame my brain didnt consider one before the other.

What is the point of this thread?

Do you realise that reregistering to get around a forum ban is a sitebannable offence?

See below for point of thread.

The consequence of a site ban did not cross my mind when I circumvented the ban. It was more so to continue to read the replies in AH but my curiosity took the better of me and I replied to 3 threads. That was the final nail in the coffin for AH. Permanent AH ban and recommened for Site Ban. Although not welcome, quite deserved really.

The thread like mentioned below is just to vent some steam. This is my outlet for reffering to the incident because that is the suggestion you get when you try to enter the room, head to "help".

Its unforunate though that I have stolen precious minutes of your life. You may take solice in the fact that I perfrom volunteer duties in my spare time. That may make up somewhat for my anti-boardsie activity.

    :(
