    Jonah Lomu Rugby.

12 years on and it's still probably the most fun 2 player game (maybe pro evo comes close). ****e one player though.

CounterStrike, bascially took up 3 years of my life playing with .dNC, was the best gaming experience of my life... and also got me free holidays!

Cant beat Resident Evil... even the thought of Resi 5 makes me feel scared...

...and Pro Evo, just for the amount of hours spent and will spend playing with my mates!

    Streets of Rage
    Soldier of Fortune 2
    Doom
California Games (NES Version: still a damn good laugh in MP today)
    Blue Shadow
    Mortal Kombat
    Battlefield 2
    Perfect Dark
    Forts
    Zombies ate my neighbours
    Half Life
    Future Cop LAPD (MP only!)
    Unreal Tournament '99
    Quake II
    Smash TV
    Red Alert '95
    Doom
    Day of Defeat
    Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War
    Advance Wars
    Goldeneye
    Medal of Honor
    Company of Heroes
    Duke Nukem 3D
    Left 4 Dead*

Some of those games hold re playability and stand the test of time more then others but all sucked away hours of my life for very extended periods relative to their release dates at the very least. I'm sure I'm missing loads.

*First game for me personally that captured the frantic spirit of a zombie epidemic movie - Resident Evil is by all means a good game but I never liked it all that much despite being a huge all-things-zombie fan.

i'm sorry but i find it hard to believe that no one has mentioned quake and we're 20+ posts into the thread, yet the almighty crysis gets a mention

Sorry...I forgot to put in Quake III Arena/Quake 4

Oh and ill also add in The Sims and Super Mario 64 :D

I wasn't really singling you out tbh. I just was gobsmacked that a game that basically created boards still hasn't been mentioned by anyone bar myself

Quake 2 was mentioned but that wasn't great. Quake 3 deserves a mention as I spent 5 years on that plus it had excellent netcode but for a game that revolutionized - imo - the fps genre didnt get a mention

id stick Q3 in there creamy, not so much q2. i think q3 is a refined and sleeker qw. q4 is just.... meh. A LOT harder then q3 to play tho
