    What we are is the top of food chain. The most intelligent species on the planet. But even that is debatable. If animals could talk I think you'd find they'd be able to put up a pretty convincing argument against that. There's nothing intelligent about sitting at a desk 9-5, polluting the planet, destroying the rainforests etc etc. There's very little humans have done that can be called intelligent other than our ability to understand things.

    You all seem to be connecting intelligence with the soul. I'd argue that if there is any species out there that doesn't have a soul its humans.

    Well then make a proper arguement,instead of blanket terms and thinly veiled insults. If you don't agree,make a point, in a constructive manner. Don't take this thread of course,or you will receive a ban and infraction.

    By proper arguement you mean one that agrees with your point of view. No thanks.

    Here's an argument for you. There is no soul, there is no God and you're all going to die just like all the animals on the planet whether you like it or not and believing in fairy tales or that really beneth it all you're actaully an immortal being is not going to change that.

    But then this just ruined it :(

    In some beliefs a person is made up of "layers" Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, So everything on earth has a physical "body" be it plant, animal or mineral etc.
    Physical - everything
    Physical & mental - animals of all types (plants?)
    Physical, mental & emotional - Humans & some animals?
    Physical, Mental, Emotional & Spiritual - Only humans?
