Maxed at 11.1c here today. The first double figure temperature of the month. 15.7mm of rain has fallen and roads are pooled in many places out in the countryside. Temperatures are dropping hard now, down to 6.8c currently from 10+c at seven o clock this evening. The wind got up to 29mph at midday, nothing of great importance really, though the SSW direction was probably muffled by the hills as usual in that flow.

I think you might need to callibrate your barometer? ;) Good to hear of snow.

3.8c here atm - seemed to max at 4.3c. Almost 100% cloudy.

    Sub zero.
How low will it go. I think -4C is on the cards, but I'm surprised that ME have pegged back their forecast of low temps. Was -5 to -6C, but now saying -3C to -4C.
Usually here near coast my temps are a degree or 2 higher the likes of Birr and Mullingar though there are plenty recent examples that this has not been the case.

Probably because of low cloud over the usual cold spots, the mountains seem to be drying out the air for us here in Wicklow though .

I expect in an hour or so the katabatic wind from NW will kick in and the temp will rise and then fall again even lower. It's always a rediculous tease!
