    Hi guys,

While on the topic of Weather Conditions, I've put together a weather gadget for Gmail displaying the current Met Eireann weather graphics.

In Gmail simply go to your settings, "Gadgets" tab and then paste this URL into the box:

    http://www.highonsnow.com/metgadget/metgadget.xml

If you are having trouble loading that Widget as it appears in the picture below, it may be because Google are caching it, as was the problem I was facing. To work around the problem simply do as follows (put a ? and a random number after the URL like so):

    http://www.highonsnow.com/metgadget/metgadget.xml?10
    http://www.highonsnow.com/metgadget/metgadget.xml?11
    http://www.highonsnow.com/metgadget/metgadget.xml?4564564564

It appears, however I may be mistaken, some people who have Windows XP Themes enabled may experience scroll bars - unfortunately I have no control over this, it's impossible to make a happy medium unless I come across another solution further down the road.

I've tried several approaches including the aul reliable width="100%" trick but Google Chrome appears to have an issue with that. I want to make this as cross browser and cross platform friendly as possible!

    The results are as follows:

-0.3c here atm. Fell to a min of -0.7c (about an hour ago).

Chance of transitional sleet and snow today, according to Evelyn on the radio, as the mild (booooooo) weather moves in.

Mild enough day down here in Kerry, more of a mist than rain.
Also, i dont think i have ever seen as much snow as there is on the Reeks, especially Carrauntuohil and Caher, they are just huge slabs of white with hardly any black or brown poking through. Also it is funny to see how far down the snowline is on the Reeks compared with Brandon and other mountains on Dingle peninsula ( i guess due to the fact that Brandon is surrounded by water on 3 sides)

Back to the norm for a while i think.

As Jean said at 9:30. The warm front followed by a cold front cycle for the wrest of the week anyway. :(

    Mostly cloudy atm.
