UPC/NTL Broadband down in Maynooth area as of Friday night.

Living in Maynooth, broadband has been either unbearably slow (i.e.i unusable), or not connected at all (as in the online light on the router is off). Anyone else in the area having this problem? Will trying to use open DNS solve this? Don't want to spend hours trying to get to the page if it won't work.
