had a BWM m3 e46 for the weekend!!

    Had an e46 M3 for the weekend its insane
    i "thought" i had fast cars for years ie Gti's Boxsters etc but nothing prepared me for the m3 its completly Insane after 3 days of driving it ,it still terrifies me!! if anybody gets the chance to get a drive in one , GO do it ,they are amazing!!!!

    Interesting. Didnt think they would be insane. Must hop along to the local bmw garage who has two of them at the minute. 2 testdrives required there I think. I have a fairly expensive car at the minute and would love to go for an M3. The problem is I think I would need to buy the m3 & another car/van for doing my daily mileage as the costs would get out of hand driving one every day doing about 25000 miles a year on bad roads.

    I guess you now need to try an M5!

    4.8s is pretty quick, I measured my 1.2 at 17seconds a few months ago!

    Had an e46 M3 for a day .. really is fantastic machine, also had an e36 M3 EVO which, even though was only -20bhp, felt a lot tamer than the e46!

    I thought it was an "insane" car too, until i recently drove a pumped up Impreza STI Verison R ..... youd need a neck brace driving that car day to day!! :D
