    their first destination was Ireland where one drunken afternoon they all managed to shave their eyebrows and sign up to a jam making degree course in the Institute of Technology in Sligo where they had been spending a week. Being a woman of integrity, maturity and honesty despite her young age DeWiki decided to stay and finish the course while her friends departed for Africa. In 1984 she completed her studies receiving a pass degree, although her lecturers said that her blackberry jam was excellent, however, her attempt at the strawberry preserve assigned in her final exam was less than successful as it did not set properly thus contributing to her less than perfect grade.
