Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

RTE Podcast Problems

    I've subscribed to a few RTE podcasts using Juice.

    I'm having a problem. The subscriptions are repeatedly downloading podcasts that have already been downloaded each time I start downloading.

    The problem doesn't occur with non-RTE podcasts I'm also subscribed to e.g. BBC podcasts, NPR.

    Anyone know why the RTE podcasts keep downloading again and again?

    I'm having trouble with them as well. They're not downloading properly through MediaCentre (the program I use for podcasts). I tried to download a podcast straight from my browser and it calved as well :mad:

    I've had trouble with them also - it's a right pain in the ass .. .. .. oops!

    Aw poop! Well, at least its not my incompetence (or we're all incompetent!)

    Hope someone (smarter than me) comes up with a fix as it really is a pain in the bottom. Previously I've unsubscribed to all RTE podcasts because of this problem. Thought it might have been fixed since.

    Has anyone been in touch with RTE about the problem? It does seem to be just their podcasts that are the problem. And across various platforms too, according to Firetrap.

    Right, I've emailed RTE (Podcasting at rte dot ie) about the problem... I'll keep you posted (so far I've got an autoreply which doesn't address the issue)

    A bit of a non-update - no response from RTE yet and podcasts still duplicate downloading. Ho hum.

    (still very open to any suggestions as to how to fix this problem :) )
