    ^^^

    Hi Thonda,
I can't tell whether thats a sad or joyful event from the picture above, only that its probably significant to you.

I've taken a few recently , which are of a redundancy , not sure how they'll eventually end up,or even if I can make the photos work. I'm thinking of a tryptich with more and more emtpy desks.

If I'ld I thought about it a bit more I would have kept the same camera position and focal lenght as the open plan emptied and the disorder began.

I'll know the better the next time.

Heres a bit of it, it won't mean much to most viewers, but theres a hundred folks for whom it may have some context.

Love the processing on these shots...

    Thanks. :)
Problem for me is, its the same preset used on every single one of them...

Not really, I mean I tried to vary them a little but I suppose I didn't do a great job of it. I'm just a beginner so I don't know how to do much else in PS yet. Nice to hear some feedback either way though.

I would call it a theme not "the same". I think you have a nice theme going and it works well (for me)

Thanks. I suppose there's an aesthetic that I'm drawn to a lot, I didn't really think about it too much - just picked my favourites.

Awesome B&W picture. How did you get it? Did you deliberately underexpose? I've read that's a great way of getting crisp, contrasty B&Ws.

I can't figure the point out, but your shot was a total heart-melter, probably more so personally as the girls remind me of my own two 'big' sisters when we were growing up, Christmas was just such a magical and mysterious time and the spirit is well captured there.

No sorry, I posted a shot of how hard it is to get four kids two young teens to pose for a shot. Sixteen shots with different frowns and tears.

Anyway I was advised to take it down, by one of the teens.

Thanks for your comments on my first picture.

    Brian.

I was lucky to get few snaps of horses in the morning, thanks to Borderfox. And yes, pictures are straight from the camera, underexposed and white ballance is off too. But this thread is about random pictures, isn't it?

Loving your processing style as well.

How did you achieve the effect on some of the 'Lonely Tree' pictures? This one in particular; http://www.flickr.com/photos/le_girl/3120603541/

Curiosity is getting the better of me.

    Thanks.

edit: adding a photograph for the Hell of it.
