Folks.

I'm still having to deal with posts including images bigger than 800 pixels, longest edge.

This is in the opening post. It's been reiterated by AnCatDubh.

I have a new policy. As of now, any picture in this thread which I find is bigger than the rules state, the post will be deleted, no ifs, no buts and no warnings.

The rule is there for some practical reasons and is not new. It's also stated clearly, not only that, while we are flexible in general on it, it is also stated in the charter.

For a thread which has specific rules, eg no, no-requoting, and size limitations which are clearly stated up front, I am not going to be all that forgiving any more.

The posts which have photographs which are counter to the rules in the opening post will be deleted and I am going to update the opening post to that effect.

My favorites of today...

with regards to size of pictures. Maybe you could add to the instruction how to ad pictures to a thread under point 2a that you need to check the size on top of the page when you are on all sizes (speaking for flickr) and change it accordingly. I knew the rule when I first posted here just could not figure out my mistake - probably nervous about first post:o
