Thanks. I use Canon's MP-E 65mm and EF-S 60mm. The one above was taken with the 65mm as the one below.

I popped down to Mornington beach yesterday. The sky was terrible but I had a good look around to familarise myself with the area for another day. I caught these guys as they just set out for a trot.

No, didn't know about that place but now I want to. You have any more info on it? I will be back considering how close it is to me.

I braved the Roman traffic and stood in the middle of the road for that. I quite like it although the camera I used for it wasn't great and that shows at higher resolutions.

Cheers Kyle. I've got about 50 different versions of it... took ages to figure out. Pity the sat nav reflection got in the way of the shot

Here is the map . It was/is at the end of Crook road, basically turn left at the tower and continue on to the end. I don't know if it's still there. TBH I wouldn't be surprised if the place was razed as it was an absolute death trap (deadly for bored teenagers - we once found a box of unused flares there and had great fun with them ). If it's not there, there are still great views of the estuary, especially at sunrise
