Mr. Duke Special, last night in DCU. Fantastic gig, really won me over.
However the room was lit with three red lights, fairy lights for a christmas tree and candles...

    Considering this:
    Exposure: (1/30)
    Aperture: f/4.8
    Focal Length: 155 mm
    ISO Speed: 3200
    I'm quite happy!

One more from last night - this was in DCU too, in the 'old bar', where there was battle of the bands going on. It was this guys bands first time playing a gig. Didn't catch the name, but they were incredible. Pity the thing was a fix!

No, it's a string of windfarms that runs on the ridge stretching from Geevagh to Ballyfarnon and Arigna. They're usually not visible as clearly as this, but the sun lights up the horizon just before it rises and they stand out.

    moon.jpg

I don't seem to be able to get as clear a shot of the moon as NORTH1's, above. Maybe it's because it was low in the sky and I had a lot of atmosphere to deal with.

Or maybe I'm just not very good :)

Your shot seems to be taken at nearly the same time as mine judging by the craters in the shot, what was your setting and method for the shot?

Still not a bad shot of the moon in my opinion.

    Maybe a little yellow?
