Your shot seems to be taken at nearly the same time as mine judging by the craters in the shot, what was your setting and method for the shot?

Still not a bad shot of the moon in my opinion.

    Maybe a little yellow?

Here's one from a while back, 300mm lens so effective 450mm, f/5.6, ISO 200, 1/125s. Slightly long shutter speed (handheld) but the shake reduction on the Pentax is very effective.

Ok, so silage bales are a pretty prosaic objects, but add some frost and a low winter sun.............................

Phoenix Park at 9am this morning. Freezing cold @ minus -3c, but absolutely stunning. I just fired off a few photos with my little Sony W120 Cyber-Shot & pretty happy with the results.

Couple of Reindeer in the park on Saturday morning who got a bit disturbed by all the people in Santa outfits going for a run:

Dunno if the deer had red noses, I certainly did with the cold though.

    1/50, f/5.7, ISO 100. Sigma 70-300mm at 300mm on a tripod with remote release.

I tried manually focussing at one point, using the live view function and digitally zooming to 10x on the LCD - it was really cool to watch the moon visibly gliding across the screen.

I went out yesterday morning in the hopes of getting of those fantastic foggy frosty sunrises that I always see on my way to work when I have no camera...of course, the part of the sky in question was covered with cloud so I had to settle for these....

it was also the first time I had seen frozen sand and seawater...
