hi there is one in the ha'penny inn every wednesday/ sunday, its normally fairly good, havent seen any of todays line up before myself, but its fairly reliable

fred cook on the sunday is allways great btw...

    the mailing list:
Howyis, we had two very busy and very good shows the week just gone, so its great to see what used to be a quiet period turn into a busy one so thank you kindly. And a quick reminder to book your tickets for our New Year's Eve show. This week we have for you...

    Wednesday December 3rd

    JOHNNY CANDON
Delivered what was quite possibly the performance of the year at the club a couple of months ago, and has never been anything less than sparkling any other time he has played the club. A veteran headliner on the UK comedy circuit for many years now, he headlines all over the country, has appeared on everything from The Stand Up Show to The Bill, Eastenders and Grange Hill. Plus he supported Ricky Gervais on his 'Animals' tour.

    ROBBIE BONHAM
If he were to get the praise he deserves it would require skywriting and a lot of it. One of the most popular acts on the Irish comedy circuit and a huge favourite on the college comedy scene, he is a nationwide headliner in his own right too. He plays all over the UK, has opened for some big names in Vicar Street and is one of the most in demand acts in the country.

    SHARON MANNION
Completing this very high quality line up is one of the most exciting acts on the Irish comedy circuit who at this rate will be headlining the club herself in no time at all. A frequent flyer at all the top clubs in the land, she seems to have gotten even better every time she plays the club and is one of those acts that we have on as often as we possibly can.

    Sunday December 7th

    DAMIAN CLARK
One of our most popular headline acts at the club, words do not adequately describe what a sheer pleasure it is to have this guy on at the club each and every time. He has numerous festival and TV credits to his name in his native Australia, is a veritable stalwart of all the biggest comedy festivals here, has put on numerous shows at the Edinburgh festival and has toured all over the country.

    FRED COOKE
Performing what will be his last support slot at the club, and only because he was booked in for it ages ago, as the simple truth is that there is just too much of a risk of him overshadowing the headline act these days; he has gotten that good. If this guy doesn't leave you in stitches laughing then you have no soul and should get a job with the HSE.

    JAMES MARSH
Last but by no means least is a serious contender for newcomer of the year. Last year he reached the Edinburgh final of So You Think You're Funny, the biggest and best new comedy award in Britain and Ireland and hasn't looked back since. But he keeps forgetting to give us a picture for the website so we're still using one of professional darts player Peter Manley.

I will be M.C. for both of these
