I just heard an ad for these on the radio. Seriously, would they not be the worst Christmas present ever?

Some people argue that vouchers are thoughtless presents. Well - how about McDonalds gift vouchers....:pac::pac:

I'd be more inclined to say friends with particularly well padded partners. Impressive.

I dunno, McDonalds makes me feel sick!

Still though when I was a kid it was a huge deal to go there so maybe it'd be good for kids (you don't like much)?

I'm so getting my brothers some of these though. That'll teach 'em.

The same people will buy them as they who bring the family to McDo's for Sunday Lunch every week.

Oh god I have craving for a caramel sunday now. Damn you OP.
On topic If I got one as a kid from a neighbour/ aunt or uncle who I wouldnt expect anything off I'd be delighted.
    Kids still like McDonalds right?!

It'd be a nice treat for kids. You'd get the chop fairly fast if you were to give a voucher to an other half.

Hmmm Tiffany's diamond necklace or ten euro voucher for McDonalds. Decisions, decisions...........

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,095 ✭✭✭Wurly

It's a great joke present though.

I wonder do they do 'eurosaver' vouchers? :D

My brother gave me a six pack of Bavaria and some bacon fries for Christmas last year (and the year before.) It really pisses me off on the day, but I appreciate it when I run out of booze.

Did you seriously dig up a 6 year old thread to ask that question?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,635 ✭✭✭Pumpkinseeds

I've never had a McDonalds and don't plan on ever having one, so no, I wouldn't like a voucher for there but I'd say they'd go down well with students. I love getting vouchers, it means I can buy things that I actually want and the person who gives the voucher doesn't have to stress out thinking of something to buy.

    Ah
A Big Mac meal with large coke and strawberry sundae please, and happy Christmas :-)
