so just stick with a 9v 500mah standard charger

500mah is still very high, Try 150mah it`ll take longer but won`t overheat your battery and you`ll get a better charge. you can pick them up for around a tenner in most of the airsoft shops. Better still get an intelligent one, bit more expensive but you dont have to worry about it

This is the charger myself (and I think Lemming ) use.
No calculations , cheap as chips and even I've yet to wreak any batteries with it:D
