Hi, We have moved into a new house and we have a problem - the cold nights! We have the radiator on in the sitting room and that's fine but it's at the peak time - We also have a night meter. We would like to turn the storage heater on at night when it's cheap and then turn it off at 8 o clock. The thing is we don't want…

Hi,
We have moved into a new house and we have a problem - the cold nights!

We have the radiator on in the sitting room and that's fine but it's at the peak time - We also have a night meter.

We would like to turn the storage heater on at night when it's cheap and then turn it off at 8 o clock. The thing is we don't want to waste the heat during the day when there's nobody there. We only want it to start heating the place from 5 o clock on or something.

Is there anyway to do this?

Hi,

If you turn the output down to 0 during the day when you are not there it should emit very little if any heat. When you come home turn the output up to get heat.
