F8 Audit opinions??

    hi guys, just wanted to know what ye all thought of F8 Audit exam, I thouht a charity would come up, could have done a bit more work on it, but overall think i did all right on that q, but I had no idea at all about post balance sheet events and audit report, so completely wiped out in q5, just waffled for half an hour making things up that i thought would apply,

    thought 1&2 were ok, although i heard a girl outside the exam hall saying she thought q2 was a 20 mark, so she lost a load of time on it. Cant actually remember what q3 was about so dont know if thats a good or a bad thing.:o

    Anyway what were yout thoughts, and best of luck if you have more to sit, next exam for me F7,

    Thought it was a horrible paper, but then I don't think auditing could ever be nice.

    Q3 was about the ethics, the yacht and balloon ride one.

    Hi All

    Can i ask you advice on F8

    I am probably goign to take F6 via classroom for June 09 Exams

    I was thinking of doing F8 via homestudy -getting the books now and doing the exam in Dec 09

    I've heard its basically theory/case study paper - do you think if i learn the theory and practice old questions etc, that would be enough to pass

    I would be aiming to do f7 for Dec 09 exams via classroom

    I work full time , but not in practice, so have no real experience of audit as such

    If i do it home study - would you recommend BPP or Kaplan books?

    any help or opinions on any of F6-f9 would be appreciated
