are you sure all your numbers are on your sim card? they might well be stored to the phone memory on your old phone. what type of phone is it?

Did it wipe them the contacts that were on the sim? I understand it wiped the ones on the phone, but there may be a few contacts on the sim if she had some on it.

Sorry to hear that,, but must of them are gone,,unless you had them backed up

    Dog house :P

You could use the app called 'switch' in the tools folder of your nokia and transfer any contacts that you have in your phone that she wants. Saving the manual entry of each of them. And next time,, do a backup ;)
