What the hell 28 votes for drummers! Everyone knows drummers are the biggest pricks. Well this is coming from someone in a band. Drummers are to tempramental you cant say anything to them without them getting pissed off and sulking.

LISTEN The only personality trait you can tell from someone because of the instrument they play is their determination.

ie their determination not to be pushed down to bass or drums or bass from the guitar (most people choose the guitar first)

Of course, I'll never move down, I'm too stubborn.

Ah now THIS is why i started this thread, to weed out assholes like my honerable friend here.

Drums are bloody hard, i can't play them at all.
guitar, hard as well, but I'm not really interested in playing it so i didn't learn.
I play bass cos I like it. You'll find most bass players play it for that reason.
So you don't get "pushed down" to drums or bass. You can be a great guitar player and still make an absolutely **** bassist.

So what if it's out of the limelight? People like you should play guitar and stand out to the front because it makes it easier to hit you with a glass bottle when you bore everyone with your 25 minute Steve Vai style guitar solo.

To be fair drummers probably are the best on a social level but I find that they cause most of the arguments within a band. Well thats going by the drummers Ive worked with anyway. Singers/Guitarists are the worst speaking as one myself I know I can be a Monumental arsehole but hey goes with the job :D

Of my friend's who play music it's tough to say.

Of all of the people I've met, who've been in bands, I'd say drummers/bassists are the soundest and singers the least pleasant.

But these are some insane generalisations. ^^
