Langtons on New Years

    Well folks I was on a few months back seeking advice on where to stay in Kilkenny, so 4 of us are heading to Langtons and staying on the 30th and 31st in Langtons. I've done some research and see that Langtons has a number of bars and a night club.

    But are all of these actually located in the hotel or is there a couple around the town?

    Also is anyone else going :D:D

    They are all in the one complex apart from The Marble City Bar which in on High St (and Kieran Street)

    To be honest, it's just one big bar at Langtons itself. Apart from Harry's Bar which is usually where private parties are held, and the nite club at the back.

    Marble City Bar is busy during the day for food, but a lot quieter at night.

    Thanks again, I wasnt sure on the internal layout but I guess its just one big superpub!

    Ye you couldnt be going to a better place than Langtons for your New Years eve......There are a few big bars in it.....you've got the main Bar and a bar just of that but one blends into the other, then you got one on your down the back as you enter night club area....and you have the main nightclub bar......but if you find Harry's Bar this is the one to get urself into and you can be still drinking in there as others are rising for their early breakfast around 7 am...... the whole place is used for the night club between late bars and the club itself.....its a great place with a great atmosphere and great food.....with the best women in the souteast coming here to socialise.....Enjoy and happy newyear.....
    PS Langton have another bar on the high street called the marble city.....great place for food and drink but they dont have the same social events as the Langtons Hotel in Johns street!!!
