compared to where they were the last time they left f1 - this show has been pretty lacklustre to be fair. they will find it hard to find someone with the deep pockets f1 requires though!

I was just thinking about that there. It's surprising how Audi never entered into Formula 1 considering Mercedes and latterly BMW did.

Best chance here I think. Honda were supposed to be ahead of the game for 2009 in relation to development and seeing as every team is kinda back to square one for 2009, they might just win races.

Button always seems to be in the wrong place career wise. Bet he never thought he would be retiring along with DC. ha ha

Well, Audi as part of Auto Union took part in some of the greatest Gran Prix battles ever back in the 1930's when the Auto Union and Mercedes streamliners were battling each other on some of Europe's greatest oval circuits.

He was obviously referring to Audi not coming in in recent years to compete with the other germans

Well, Audi didn't recently due to having a DTM programme and a very successful LeMans programme.

Talking of LeMans, eventhough they are producing the R15 for 2009 LeMans, they have pulled out of both the American and Eruopean LeMans series.
