Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One on one with last defender, showed him the ball , dinked it past one side of him and hammered it in from a tight angle. Great play.

    Dear Rafa,

Please start Insua at left back for the next few league matches.

    Thanks

+1. Dossena is rubbish. Should never have let Riise go,imo. Same goes for our right-back position - should have kept Steve Finnan for a bit longer....even if he is pushing on a bit.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 5,501 Mod ✭✭✭✭spockety

    Rovers have one back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

Dossena has been way better than Riise was last year.

    F**k 2-1

Riise is terrible. Going to be shipped out by Roma in Jan.

Dossena is in the Italian Squad and just needs time.

Sami Hyppia Setanta's MOTM. Agree with that, he was immense today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,415 ✭✭✭Racing Flat

Plus for Yossi is that he gets on the ball an awful lot. Minus is that he just seems to be on a different wavelength to everyone else.

Typical Liverpool performance. Played so so early on and the longer it took us to get the opening goal, the more we started to panic. We then score the much needed goal and everyone settles again and we capitalise with a second goal pretty much straight away.

The goal that we conceeded was extremely uncharacteristic however.

    1 - 3 > Gerard!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

3 points. Job done. Wasn't pretty though.

Bit harsh on Blackburn in the end, but great to get a few goals.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

    Damn funny game.

3-1 away looks good, but we're crap.

    ****in terrified
    watching the team talk vidiprinter

" GOAL!! Blackburn gamble, Robinson comes out to stop El Zhar one-on-one, but the ball falls to Riera who squares for Gerrard for the easy finish"

obviously I read the "GOAL!! Blackburn gamble" part and was just so sickened could barely bring myself to read on - then I did and everything is rosey.

Great result, the score flatters us unbelievably. I hope we can start playing better soon because we'll drop down the table playing like that.

I think we saw yet again today why Benitez never plays Babel - too laid back and no game intelligence. I'm afraid he's more of an athlete than a footballer.

I don't think Babel was any worse than our other midfielders first half. Blackburn pressured us so much, but they tired towards the end.
