Dboys M4 Battery vs Gearbox?

Was thinking of putting in a 9.6v battery in my M4 s system, will there be a direct link between this and my looking for a new motor\gearbox\aeg in the coming weeks? :)

Nope. It'll be fine - May void retailers warranty though.
