Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Travel vaccines

    Has anyone claimed the cost of their travel vaccines back with their medical expenses. The revenue website lists
    # Doctors and consultants fees;
    # Diagnostic procedures carried out on the advice of a practitioner;
    # Drugs/medicines prescribed by a doctor/dentist/consultant;

    When you fill in your med 1 form you only have to give a very basic breakdown of what your costs were, they don't ask for a detailed list. You do need to keep your receipts in case they want to check up on you, but you are not required to send them in with the form.

    I would claim them myself, tbh. Its a medical expense and will save you costing the Govt a fortune as you won't catch whatever disease abroad :)

    Thats logic for you though.............some of these tax/welfare issues are not logical in the least :(
