    Bought 2nd hand 03 Mercedes C180, engine leaking oil, put 2 liters in over the last two days, is this a common problem or am I dealing with major repairs. Taking it back to dealer tomorrow but would like to know prior to speaking to the mechanic if this is a common problem. Thanks.

    Might be worth doing a visual inspection before bringing it in. Have a look at oil filter and sump plug for leaks.

    Thanks Hal, brought it in Monday and they found a pipe that had worked lose, it has been fine since so hopefully that sorted it.

    Good to here, make sure there is enough oil in her. You could put some paper down under her overnight and inspect in the morning to make sure shes free of leaks.
