Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I need a new tv and was in Curry in Cork today. The Salesman was recommending LG's 37LG7000
    http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/1747684/art/lg/37lg7000-lcd-television.html

This uses 100hz technology he emphasised. I have a Freesat HD box and a Blue ray Player in my lap top. (rarely used). Would the 100hz technology make any difference to me.
    Thanks

I thought they wouldn't ship items on the UK site to Ireland. You can only buy items on the .ie site for shipment to Ireland.

I know with the sony bravia, the 100hz is for what they call motionflow.
Really useful for sports & action programmes / movies as it apparently reduces the blur/ghosting in movement on screen. I'm assuming this is the same for any 100hz TV.
Haven't had the opportunity to test it yet as i'm waiting for the HD box to be delivered.
