    This may seem a little strange, but here goes.

    Was thinking today that I've actually never seen .22LR, .22 mag, or pistol ammo for that matter, loaded with a spitzer bullet (i.e one that tapers to a sharp point), a ballistic tip, etc. All round nosed, hollow point, etc. Why is this? Surely spitzers would be more efficient aerodynamically, and in terms of velocity, energy transfer, etc.

    Anyone else noticed this? Or am I embarrassingly wrong?
