    Just wondering if anyone could recommend any good foreign sci-fi and fantasy films (not in english)

    Renaissance is a french, animated sci-fi film. Its not great but not bad.

    yea i've seen Nightwatch about 2 weeks ago it good.

    In the animated area, I'd check out the Studio Ghibli movies and, in particular, "Princess Monoke". There's plenty of others there too - "Akira" for example and "Ghost in the Shell". You'd probably get much stronger recommendations on the Anime forum.

    +1 for Princess Mononoke, it's particularly good.

    Careful with anime though, I find it awfully hit and miss. For every gem there's a turd.
